BTW, the German word Bernstein actually means amber. But could also have the figurative meaning or be interpreted as a "stone from Bern". Wishing you much joy and adventures with your new family member.

And thanks for the Bernstein correction. I had been thinking that pale gray-green was a very unusual eye color, and amber makes a lot more sense!
