What a charming interview and set of photos! And happy, happy birthday. Have a wionderful time in Italy. Hope Lynn behaves in your absence! Much love - Louise
These are lovely photos for sure, and so intimate. I like to spread beauty through my community garden, where there is also a walking path and natural playground for kids. Many people walk through, ask questions, and engage in the wonder of the plants, and insects. My family uses bamboo and other items to create entrance gates and trellises for splendor.
Duck walks into a bar, asks the bartender "Got any worms?" Bartender says no, duck leaves.
Next day, same thing, "Got any worms?" Bartender, a bit annoyed says no, we don't ever have worms.
Next day, same thing, "Got any worms?" Bartender "Look, buddy, I'm tired of you asking me for worms! We don't have any, and if you ask me again I'll nail your feet to the floor!"
Next day, ducks walks in, is quiet while the bartender gives him a menacing stare. Duck finally asks "Got any nails?" Bartender says, uh, no. "Got any worms?"
Beautiful photos!
Chris is so talented!

A community garden is a beautiful thing! And how lovely that you invite your neighbors to share it with you!

Have a wonderful trip! Love the pictures!
Thanks, Kathy! Btw, I am getting a huge kick out of the fact that you and Kathleen have very similar names and are both librarians!
Happy Birthday, Mari.
Oh thank you so much!
