I agree that there's too much Fak brothers but I'll also stand up for being Team Carmy. Tortured genius is the way to go.

You and my son could have a good conversation about this! As he pointed out, “of course the show focuses on Carmy! He’s the main character!”

Personally, I’m hoping that in season four Carmy gets himself together. He does have a lot of trauma to cope with.

I have two more episodes of season 3 to watch and am finding it very heavy going. Watching Carmy implode through perfectionism is depressing. The show has stripped him of his humanity and vulnerability, which to me makes him unlikable. I'll watch to the end, but I'm not enjoying the season. There needs to be some joy and camaraderie to balance out the dysfunction and I'm not finding that. Fingers crossed I like how the season ends.

Totally agree. Noah would point out to both of us that seasons three and four were filmed as one unit, so season three is only the first half of a longer season. I’m hoping there is a turn in season four.

What a great post. I really enjoyed the opening credits sequence, there's nothing like watching Chicago come together in the early morning, a sight which should be on everyone's bucket list.

I love it so much! That sequence makes me so nostalgic for my years in Chicago.
